Positive Lifting played a crucial role in the construction of the 98-08 Queens Boulevard mixed-use tower in Rego Park, Queens. Our team worked in close collaboration with NY Developers and Management, the general contractor, and the developer's team of subcontractors to execute a well-coordinated crane logistics plan. Through meticulous planning and seamless communication, we successfully met all deadlines, completing the required lifts efficiently and ahead of schedule.

Precision Planning and Expert Execution: Positive Lifting’s Fleet in Action

Positive Lifting’s expert office management and field planning ensured that the right equipment was utilized for each task. Our fleet of mobile cranes—including the Liebherr LTM 1300, Liebherr LTM 1250, Liebherr LTM 1220, Liebherr LTM 1100, Grove GMK3050B, and Grove GMK3050LB—along with a variety of knuckleboom cranes, such as the Fassi 2150, Fassi 1950, Fassi 1650, and Palfinger PK20002, were instrumental in the successful execution of this project. Through these efforts, Positive Lifting efficiently handled the lifting of concrete superstructure materials, formwork, glass panels, and assisted with crane façade installations.

Expert Crane Solutions for Complex Urban Construction

We also supported mechanical rigging and HVAC boom services, playing a key role in the installation of the building’s façade, including the cementitious cladding and glass curtain wall. Our team’s precise handling of heavy materials and expert coordination kept the project on track while upholding the highest safety standards. By providing reliable, high-quality crane solutions, we contributed significantly to the successful progression of this large-scale urban development.

Comprehensive Crane & Rigging Solutions for Urban Construction

This project exemplifies Positive Lifting’s expertise in executing complex, high-profile construction projects in dynamic urban environments. Beyond our crane operations, we provided comprehensive logistical support, handling all necessary permits and approvals to ensure a smooth and compliant operation. Our team facilitated Crane & Derricks approvals for mobile crane work, knuckleboom permit approvals, DOT permits, engineering crane drawings, and authorizations for outdoor material storage and deliveries. By seamlessly managing all crane and rigging logistics, Positive Lifting ensured that every aspect of the project was executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
