Flushing Point Towers - 131-02 40th Road Flushing, NY

One of the largest projects in NEW YORK CITY HISTORY, consisting of 3 towers of 22 stories each Covering a massive 550,600 square feet, with 243,000 square feet dedicated to residential areas. Positive Lifting has done it all on this project from concrete superstructure to mechanical equipment and other scopes.

The scale of this undertaking large project showcases Positive Lifting’s capabilities of meeting industry demand. This project required meticulous planning and coordination. Positive Lifting played a crucial role in orchestrating the crane and rigging plans, ensuring the safe lifting of all equipment and materials involved in the project.

We started by utilizing knuckle boom cranes for the superstructure erection, followed by the use of mobile cranes such as Grove GMK3050B and Liebherr LTM 1100 for lifting materials onto the roof. Additionally, we coordinated lifts with the Liebherr LTM 1250 and Liebherr LTM 1300 mobile cranes for heavy mechanical units weighing between 5,000 and 15,000 pounds.
